Made with only 8 ingredients, these homemade bagels are easy to make and taste heavenly. They're of much higher quality than the store bought kind and are also way cheaper!

So, a long, long time ago, I shared with you a recipe for easy homemade bagels. Turns out you guys loved the heck out of it despite the god awful pictures included in the post.

To date, it is in my top ten most popular posts. And it still has crappy pictures. So today, I decided to do that amazing bagel recipe justice with new pictures, more explanation of HOW to make them, and improved recipe instructions. And I’ve even got a little video down there from the Maria Alison from Ten at the Table (also my sister) that shows EXACTLY how to shape the bagels.

Shaping the bagels was BY FAR the biggest question I’ve gotten regarding the recipe.

Maple Cinnamon Sweet Potato Bites

Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and PACKED with that comforting “cinnamon roll” flavor. They’re so easy to make and are actually healthy for you!

Cinnamon Maple Sweet Potato Bites // Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and PACKED with comforting "cinnamon roll" flavor!

Not too long ago I shared a recipe for sweet potato fries, and while I was making them, a brilliant idea popped into my head…

“Cinnamon roll flavored sweet potato fries”

Of course, whilst cutting the sweet potatoes I changed my mind and decided to make them bites. I also decided that instead of coating them with olive oil (because cinnamon and olive oil don’t go together), I’d use melted butter. Ooh, yes.

Because, when in doubt, add butter. Honestly, it isn’t that much added calories and it makes it taste 20x better. TRUTH.

Chipotle Sweet Potato Black Bean Tacos // Natural Chow

I have always been a taco kind of girl.

I would eat tacos everyday of my LIFE if I could. But until a couple of days ago, I had only ever tried a “regular” taco—beans, meat, cheese, lettuce—the whole shabang.

I’ve never had sweet potato in a taco before, but after remembering how fabulous and tasty last week’s sweet potato fries were, I kinda wanted to try something different. I mean, the sweet/salty/spicy combo was pretty dang good, so I figured—why not improve on a flavor combo I KNOW will taste great?

The result was taco perfection.

My Top 5 Ways to Relieve Stress | Learn my best kept secrets for handling stress naturally! | Natural Chow

Because life happens, I find it VERY necessary to have ways to handle my stress naturally.

Wanna hear how the last couple of days have been? Of course ya do.

So, my dad was supposed to fly to Phoenix (from Augusta) on March 7th. Of course my crazy family was a day ahead and thought “Oh! It’s time to go drive for an hour and a half before Dad gets on the plane.” Well, we get there, he walks up to the front desk, and we are promptly told that his flight is the next day.

I mean, you have GOT to be kidding me!!! One and a half hours of driving just to find out that his flight isn’t until tomorrow. Not to mention that we had to drive all the way back home and do it ALL over again the next day. UGH.

Cranberry Pistachio Ganache Glazed Brownies

Perfect fudgy, moist brownies topped with a smooth ganache, cranberries, and pistachios. These brownies will blow you away with their flavor and are super easy to make.

When I make brownies, I go all out.

I mean, why have a plain ‘ol brownie when you can have a super indulgent cranberry pistachio ganache glazed brownie? You’d have to be crazy.

As fancy as this recipe sounds, it honestly couldn’t be simpler. You just bake the brownies, whip up the ganache and spread over the top (make sure to let it drizzle over the sides…mmmmm), and sprinkle it with cranberries and pistachios.

I’ll admit, this is pretty close to a basic brownie, but the smooth, rich ganache topped with the crunchiness of the pistachios and the tartness of the cranberries brings what would be just a regular brownie to another level.
