Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte

What better way to kick off October than with a homemade pumpkin spice latte in hand? This recipe is foolproof and a hundred times tastier than the kind from Starbucks.

Let me start out by saying, I don’t normally put pumpkin in my coffee.

Call me crazy. But when I do add pumpkin to my coffee, it’s when I’m making a pumpkin spice latte. And not just any pumpkin spice latte—THE BEST pumpkin spice latte known to man.

I know, I know, you COULD jut drive all the way to Starbucks to get an overly priced version of the real thing. But this is real life people. Where we make pumpkin spice lattes at home. Just for the heck of it.

Nah, I’m just kidding. There are plenty of reasons why you should make your pumpkin spice latte at home (besides the fact that it’s like drinking liquid gold).

First of all, it literally takes 5 minutes to prepare. No need to drive down to Starbucks just for a tasty latte. Second, it super stinking easy and uses ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen. Lastly, when you make it at home, it tastes so much fresher and you get to skipping all the additives and preservatives you would have consumed by buying it from Starbucks.

If that wasn’t enough to convince you, I don’t know what will.

This pumpkin spice latte can easily be made vegan by using dairy-free milk (like coconut milk) and using coconut whipped cream for topping.

I’ve made this homemade pumpkin spice latte many, MANY times and it is truly delicious. Smooth, creamy heaven in a mug. You are SO gonna love it.

This is ALMOST the recipe I use. The only difference is I like a sprinkle of black pepper added for a bit of a ‘bite’. Really wakes me up!

I love coming up with ways to make your favorite things at home. This looks so good. I found a way to make the Chai Tea Lattes I like so much from Starbucks at home and I am enjoying putting all that money back in my pocket! ;-) Thanks for linking up to Show My Saturday!
