Whole Wheat Pie Crust

pie crust wwSeeing the pie crust in the grocery store makes me want to gag. It looks really fake, gross, and I would never let anyone I know attempt to stomach it. It’s just that bad. Oh my gosh, the graham cracker crust gives me so many chills on my arm just thinking about it. Thinking about even eating is just repulsive. But I’ll tell you that this is the pie crust for you. It’s also the best recipe for whole wheat pie crust that I have found and tried. I can guarantee you’ll love it. Easy Homemade Vanilla Yogurt

yogurt1I am the kind of girl that goes through a quart of yogurt a day. Serving me and my seven siblings something as healthy as yogurt everyday gets a little costly. There had to be a solution. So there I was pacing in the kitchen, “How are you going to solve this predicament, Margaret? Huh?”. And it hit me. Why can’t I just make my OWN yogurt. It can’t be that hard. Healthy Homemade Pizza Crust

Every Friday night since I can remember has been pizza night, but we never ordered from some pizza joint such as Papa John’s, Cici’s Pizza, or Little Caeser’s. Don’t get me wrong—pizza isn’t all too healthy for you, especially if you’re buying it from a pizza shop because who knows whats in the crust, or the cheese, or the GMO veggies. But we use mozzarella cheese and vegetables from Whole Foods or EarthFare, and we make our dough using a recipe we can trust.

Well, I hope that you are not in the same boat as I am. Yes, that’s right…I’m a vegetarian. And you know what that means.

No hamburger for me. [Read more…]
