Despite their health benefits, I’m not usually one to buy avocados. 

Unless I know I’ll be making a batch of guacamole soon.

Avocados are a real funny thing. One minute their as hard as a rock, the next their waaaaay too soft and are completely unusable. So I buy the rock hard (green) avocados, wait until they’re just starting to go soft, and then make a batch of the world’s best homemade guacamole.

If you can believe it, whole wheat doesn’t mean hard as a rock/flavorless. 

And these soft, super delicious rolls prove it. Before I started eating real food, I had never noticed the whole wheat flour sitting INCHES away from the bleached “enriched” white flour I used to buy. Now I would rather use white whole wheat flour over all-purpose any day, although I do make a few exceptions.
