In case you were wondering—yes, this is the best smoothie ever.

Usually it takes me a couple of tries to find the secret combo to the most simplistic yet most flavorful smoothie.

That’s why I was so darn surprised when I blended this baby up and the first sip was love in my belly. Because I did A LOT of things differently with this smoothie than I’ve ever done before.

I have never *loved* smoothies to the point where I would make them everyday if I had an unlimited supply of ingredients. Therefore I don’t make smoothies everyday. Heck, I hardly make smoothies every week!

But, holy moly you guys. This. Smoothie. I would make it every day if I could. Once, you take a sip, you’ll understand.

Oh yeah, not only is this smoothie really stinkin’ delicious, it’s also super easy to make. Like, so easy my 11-year-old sister could make it. All you gotta do is throw all of the ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth.

Like I said. REALLY EASY.

So let’s talk ingredients.

Ice, a banana, frozen strawberries, pineapple chunks, a can of coconut milk, and a little bit of vanilla extract.

I didn’t have any frozen bananas in the freezer (face palm), so instead of waiting to make this smoothie I just tossed in a fresh ripe banana and about 8 ice cubes.

Also, those strawberries are ones that I picked last summer, froze, and forgot about. I’m glad that finally got put to good use.

Whoever invented pina coladas deserves a Nobel Prize because I have come to the conclusion that it is the BEST combo of ingredients since peanut butter and chocolate.

It was all I could do to keep my sister from drinking ALL of it. I mean, come on. Best smoothie ever and my sister’s hogging it. Ugh.

I’m pretty sure this recipe was born out of my coconut obsession. Yes, I do have 8 cans of coconut milk in my refrigerator,#thankyouverymuch.

I’m sure you remember Monday’s Ultimate Coconut French Toast. Who could forget?

This does sound yummy! I haven’t made a smoothie in a long time. It’s more about cleaning up the stupid blender for me. I need to get over it! Going to have to try this one. Thank you for sharing it and your divine chocolate pomegranate chia seed recipe at What We Accomplished Wednesdays. Have a great weekend!
    Blessings, Deborah

Wow! This recipe sounds AWESOME! I have pinned it to my pinterest and it is definitely one I want to try. I think I will wait until a little bit later in the year when British strawberries are at their finest! :)

I’ve recently been making smoothies every morning and this will be a great new combination. I use coconut water in mine so I’m curious to see how coconut milk will change it. Do you make your own or is there a brand you recommend?

    ~Thanks~
